About Buki Domingos

The Nigerian born Buki Domingos grew up in a musically oriented home, she began her musical career at the tender age of ten and her first performance was in a Catholic Church in which her mother was the choir director for Latin Hymns at the time.

 

Even as a child she knew she wanted to sing but little did she know what would await her in a few years to come.

Through her Secondary school she was always active and interested in anything that had to do with music. She took part in inter-school competitions and sometimes came back with prizes for her school.

After her Secondary school education at the age of seventeen she moved on straight away with her studies and gained admission into a University outside her country.

 

Starting off in a totally strange place and really away from home for the first time Buki Domingos seriously started thinking about working harder on her musical career because she knew now more than ever that she wanted to sing, hence the application in a Karaoke bar, one of the most successful spots for singing at the time, she got the job, financed her way through her studies and graduated successfully. Always seeking for more Buki Domingos decided to come to Germany on a visit to try out the waters. Barely after a few weeks of arrival she got her first gig and is up till this day slowly but surely on her way to reach her goal.
